Clearview
Montessori School (CMS) is a not-for-profit
registered corporation
that has attained charitable status and operates a casa (pre-school) and
elementary level educational facility.
'To care for and keep awake, the guide within every
child is a matter of first importance in Montessori
education'
The above quote by Maria Montessori inspires us
everyday at Clearview Montessori School. We
understand along with her, that we are born with an
instinct to learn - urge towards competence, in
relation to our environment. Dr Montessori
developed a full self-directed educational
curriculum for the child between the ages of 2½
and 12 years old and is the curriculum we follow at
our school.
Roots and Wings
CMS provides young children ample opportunity to
develop their roots deep within the natural world so
they can experience the awe that comes with an
intimate understanding of the world of which they
are a part. We offer a traditionally prepared
Montessori environment with the unique classroom
materials that were scientifically developed to
enhance and support brain development in growing
children. We allow each child to follow
his/her own intellectual path supported by a
trained, prepared adult which enables a unique
educational experience for the individual children
and provides opportunity for the development of
their own wings of knowledge.
To offer a self-directed education to your children
is a gift to all humanity, as the impact of self
-motivated and confident individuals on our world is
inestimable.
